Shipping Information Ambrosia would like to offer you some information about our shipping and postage!
Time Scale
Should you adopt your teddy bear before 12 midday, we will dispatch your bear to you the same day. If you place your adoption order after 12 midday, it will be sent the following morning. If you have chosen a bear as a gift and would like it to arrive on a certain day, please just let us know, and we can defer dispatch until the day before, so that it arrives just in time!
Postage Charges
We have calculated the postage charges according to weight by following the information provided by Royal Mail. We have selected only Special Delivery - signature required upon delivery - as it includes insurance up to £1000. Recorded Delivery only covers up to £28, and should anything untoward happen to your bear in transit, you would be unable to make a full claim if this method is used as most bers are valued at more than this! Special Delivery, on the other paw, is the fastest and safest way of shipping your new acquisition! If you need to defer delivery for any reason (a birthday, or you simply need to be in to sign) then please let us know.
Weight up to 500g = £5.00 Special Delivery, guaranteed before 1pm next day.
Weight up to 1kg = £6.50 Special Delivery, guaranteed before 1pm next day.
Orders over £100 = free Special Delivery, guaranteed before 1pm next day.
HOWEVER, should you wish to pay for Standard or Recorded Delivery, please email us to confirm that you understand that, should your bear take a permanent holiday in transit, you will be unable to make a claim against Royal Mail!
Return Policy
Should your bear be found upon delivery to be significantly not as described, then please return within 7 days with all the original packaging and in 'as new' condition. You will be refunded the original adoption price less the postage. Buyer must pay return postage. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of receipt, so Special Delivery return is strongly recommended.
Conditions of Sale
Please note that our bears are not toys as, due to small parts, they do not conform to British/European safety standards. They are collectors' items only. Please bear (!) this is mind when adopting.
