Ambrosia has been thinking quite a lot lately, and has decided to share some of her best brain-tearsers with you! Some of these are very easy to solve, others are more difficult, but they all have one thing in common: the solution is VERY easy!
Ambrosia will publish the funniest, most inventive (along with the person's name!) and the correct solutions to each puzzle after a few days. PLEASE email her with your answers!
1. Ambrosia has something which gets wetter as it dries. What is it?
2. Ambrosia has to transport four buckets of water. She has to drive them along a very bumpy road in a truck. She cannot tip the water out, or remove it in any way; neither can she put a lid on any of the buckets. How does she transport them without spilling a single drop?
3. Ambrosia has a glass tank which is full of poisonous spiders. Beneath the spiders are three rubies. Ambrosia must neither break the glass, nor harm the spiders in any way. How can she get the rubies?
4. Ambrosia has dropped a paper clip into a glass of water. She must neither tip the water out, nor get her paws wet, nor put anything into the water. How can she get the paper clip?
5. A model of Ambrosia is put into a box. The box is padlocked and put into a bag, which is tied securely. The bag containing the box is then put in a hole 6 feet deep, which is then filled in. A teddy guard is posted on the site so that the earth is not disturbed. After a week, the bag and box are dug up and opened. The model has disappeared! How?
